Hello list,

currently i'm wondering about that:

1. I'm using gtk-sharp3 3.22.0
2. The Ubuntu distro 16.10 delivers 2.99.3
3. github.com/mono/gtk-sharp/releases writing about the last release Gtk# 2.12.41

Why can exists a NuGet-Package 3.22.0 but just a release of 2.12.41?
Will be a gtk-sharp3 3.22.0 delivered in Ubuntu 17.04?

Otherwise it makes no sense to develop with that NuGet-Package, if a
Linux-Distro can't use that.. Or have i misunderstood anything?

Greetings
Sascha

Hi,

It's unofficial, from more actively maintained fork.
Are you the developer behind that GitHub repo?
Is it that NuGet package also yours?

I had the hope that that NuGet meant Xamarin guys were still working in
Gtk# 3...

I'm starting to think that a solution such as CefSharp is better than
struggling with C# toolkits...
